A copper-alloy furniture fitting of possible Roman dating. It has a circular base with remains of iron corrosion at the bottom. The body of the fitting is waisted ending in a central knop with a conical element on top, which has a rounded apex. The iron corrosion from the underside of the base continues along one side of fitting to the upper raised line.
The fitting can be dated to the 43-410 AD. Similar example in PAS database: WMID-B50CC2.

A copper-alloy knife complete handle of the Roman period. It is sub-triangular in plan and D-shaped in cross-section. It has the remains of the corroded iron blade, which is single edged and triangular in cross-section.
