A fragment of an Early-Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) copper-alloy stirrup-strap mount (c. 1000-c. 1100). Williams Class A, Type 12 (closed). The front of the plate has two recessed lozenge shaped panels and a portion of suspension loop that may have broken due to wear. The rear is flat and plain. This worn mount is drab reddish brown. Length: 25.0mm; width: 19.9mm; thickness: 3.4mm. Weight: 2.82g. Williams (1997, p. 69-72) has categorised such mounts as Class A, Type 12 (closed). Similar examples are illustrated, 289-305. Copper alloy book clasp. The flared posterior end is decorated on the upper surface by three round pierced holes, behind which two copper alloy rivets penetrate near the rear face and project from the lower surface. The holes and rivets are surrounded on the upper surface by decoration formed by parralel scratched lines. The anterior end also has an impressed decoration of parralel scratched lines, and has a downward facing flattened hook. The object is in fair condition, is 60mm long, 20mm wide, 3mm thick and weighs 7.10g.

A complete Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead circular unifaced token (1250-1800 AD). The token has been cast with a raised design of a equal arm cross with a pellet in each quarter on the obverse and a flat, undecorated reverse. The token measures 17.42 mm in diameter, 4.24 mm thick and weighs 7.1 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely and could be Medieval or Post Medieval in date (1250-1800 AD). ~~Copper alloy composite strap end that is made from two undecorated sheet plates that the strap. The top plate is a long rectangular plate that has a pointed forward edge. A medieval to post-medieval copper-alloy strap end dating to c 1450-1600. The strap end is made in two pieces each with concave edges so that the sides curve round and join to the other plate. The strap end has a long plain top section which gradually narrows towards the end where it curves in to create a waist before flaring out.
