A probably late medieval cast copper alloy rectangular buckle c.1300-1500. The frame is rectangular in plan with bevelled outer edges on the upper surface. The front edge is notched and the strap bar displays the rusted remains of an iron pin. The reverse is plain and flat.

Copper alloy finger ring with an empty circular collet for an intaglio. The hoop is oval in profile and D-shaped in section, tapering from the wide (10 mm wide), slightly bevelled shoulders to the narrower base (4 mm wide) of the hoop. The roughly circular collet on the oval bezel is formed from a raised collar which creates a recess, now empty, which would have contained an intaglio made from glass or a gemstone. The collar of the collet is 9 mm in diameter and 2 mm in height, and the internal diameter of the collet for the stone is 7 mm. The ring likely belongs to Henig's (1974) …

Cast copper alloy awl, sub-triangular in plan, rectangular in profile and ovate in section. The awl tapers in plan from the rounded spatulated end which is 14.6 mm wide, and sub-rectangular in section, to the pointed end which is 3 mm wide and circular in section. The awl is heavily patinated and has taken a lot of damage around the nib leaving it distorted and with several deep cuts across its surface. Some awls may have been hafted in to a wooden or bone handle and this flattened butt end may have made for better hafting. Plain copper-alloy awls are hard to date precisely, but ones …
