Record ID: BERK-9C2E4B
Object type: COIN
Broad period: ROMAN
County: Oxfordshire
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation
An incomplete copper alloy contemporary copy of a Roman nummus (AE3) from the House of Constantine, possibly copying a VICTORIAE DD AVGG QNN (two figures on reverse) or alternatively this is a very, very crude FEL TEMP REPARATIO copy. The obverse bust is crude as is the reverse image of two figures. The legends appear nonesensical and both the obverse and reverse have been struck slightly off-flan. Suggested date: AD 341-350 (Reece Period 17-18).
