Description: A complete but squashed gold finger ring of earlier Roman date. The 'D' sectioned hoop is somewhat slender and has been (deliberately?) broken at its base, the two ends subsequently folded in on each other. The shoulders are plain, expanding into an oval bezel at their apex. The latter is decorated with the faint incised design of a palm frond, but is otherwise plain. An incomplete copper-alloy wrist or sleeve clasp of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 450 - 570. Hines Form B18c, cast in one piece. The clasp consists of a rectangular plate with a raised bar along one long straight edge and one curvilinear edge forming five roundels, with four perforations, or sewing holes, for attachment between the bar and the roundels. The bar is decorated with perhaps eight broad transverse grooves alternating with double narrow grooves. The reverse of the clasp is flat and undecorated though the worn remains of a hook project from the centre of the straight edge. …

Complete flint leaf arrowhead dating from the Early Neolithic to the Early Bronze Age (c. 4000 - 1600 BC). The arrowhead is pear-shaped, with covering, scaled, low-angle retouch on both faces. The flint is patinated with dark brown patches and light grey speckles on a mid-grey surface. The arrowhead is 29.36mm in length, 20.80mm at maximum width and 4.26mm in thickness. It weighs 2.25g. There are many similar examples on the database, including: NLM-6AAAD5, YORYM-8CFE1Fand BH-82314E.
