An incomplete Medieval rectangle buckle possibly dating to c. 1270-1350 AD. The buckle is slightly trapezoidal in shape and the pin is still attached to the bar, and rest in the bottom left corner of the outside edge. A third of a sheet roller is wrapped around the outside edge, the rest is missing. The frame is rectangular in cross-section. The buckle has a dark brown patina. The buckle is 16.1mm in length, 13.6mm in width, 2.9mm in thickness, and weighs 1.46g. An incomplete Medieval oval buckle dating to c. 1350-1400 AD. The buckle is oval in shape, with a lipped frame, and a narrowed offset bar. The lip is triangular in shape and is notched for the missing pin. The frame is D-shaped in cross-section. The buckle has a dark green to dark grey patina. The buckle is 17.8mm in length, 22mm in width, 2.4mm in thickness, and weighs 1.97g. A similar buckle can be seen in Egan & Pritchard 2002, page 70, fig. 42, number 279, which is dated to c. 1350-1400 AD.

An incomplete Medieval ornate oval buckle dating to c. 1200-1350 AD. The buckle has an oval frame with an offset narrowed bar which is worn. The pin is missing. The frame is D-shaped in cross-section. The outside edge is rectangular in form and protrudes slightly in the top and bottom corners. An incomplete copper-alloy buckle dating to the twelfth to fourteenth century AD. The frame consists of a single D-shaped loop with a straight bar. The pin-rest on the outside edge is flat and semi-circular in plan with multiple shallow grooves on the upper surface. On the top and bottom edge where the bar meets the frame is a short pointed protrusion. The underside of the buckle is flat and plain. The pin is missing. The buckle measures 24mm in length, has a maximum width of 20mm and a thickness of 3mm. The interior diameter of the loop measures 15mm. The buckle weighs 3.02 grams.

Cast copper alloy asymmetrical buckle of probably post-medieval date (1550-1750). The buckle frame is complete - in plan it is sub-triangular (rounded heart shaped) with a slight integral cast offset central bar to which a pin is attached. The pin is lost but would have been formed from a length of iron wrapped around the mid-point of the central bar. The mid-point of the broad end of the buckle extends with a small triangular projection - this is most likely to have acted as a pin rest. Medieval (late 14th to early 16th century) annular buckle: In plan, the copper alloy buckle frame is sub-circular and is sub-oval in section. The frame is undecorated. There is an cast copper alloy pin curled around the frame which is sub-rectangular in section, but the underside is slightly hollow and tapers to the tip.
