An incomplete post-Medieval Augsburg lead alloy two-disc cloth seal (1500-1650). One disc and part of the joining strip are missing. Disc 1. Raised ornate capital 'A' with a chevron bar. Disc 2. Missing, but partial raised pinecone design on rivet end. The seal is greyish buff overall. Length: 23.6mm; width: 18.6mm; thickness: 3.5mm. Weight: 5.37g. A mostly complete cast copper-alloy small-long brooch of probable Anglo-Saxon attribution dating to the Early Medieval period, c. 450-480 AD.
