Copper alloy awl/point that is a long thin rod that has an expanded waist (5mm diameter) towards one end. The longer side (from the expansion) is 40mm long and has a circular cross-section (3mm diameter) which very gently tapers to the tip, unfortunately the terminal is truncated. The shorter side (form the expansion) is 14mm long, and has a rectangular cross-section (2mm diameter) that narrows to a fine point; this side may have been used as a tang and could have been inserted into a socket.

An irregular copper-alloy probable cast finger-ring, likely Bronze Age/Iron Age or Early-medieval in date. Discussion: The ring is roughly D-shaped in plan with a much thinner flatter edge flatter. The band varies in cross section from circular to D-shaped. The ring is heavily patinated and pitted. Measurements:27.27mm wide, 23.97mm high, 4.18mm thick and 6.77g in weight. An incomplete copper alloy double bossed or headed button and loop fastener dating from the early Roman period. It is of a type not classified by Wild, but similar to Wild Class II: ring headed, which dates from the mid first to second century AD (AD 43 - 200). The fastener is incomplete with almost all of the ring shaped "button" element missing. The breaks are very worn and patinated. Only the very top part of the ring survives, and this is twisted. Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type. It has rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings that hold the pin axis bar, the spring is made of nine curls, the pin is missing. An incomplete, copper alloy mount in the form of a sitting bird, of probable Roman dating (AD 43 to AD 410). The mount was probably part of a bucket or other vessel The mount consists of a moulded copper alloy sitting bird with a flat base. The underside of the base shows evidence of connection to another object, possibly an iron ring, as in similar examples. The head of the bird is tilted back from a curved neck.
