A Roman coin; a copper alloy dupondius of Domitian (AD 81-96), dating from AD 95-6 (Reece Period 4). Probably VIRTVTI AVGVSTI S C reverse, depticting Virtus standing right, foot on helmet, holding spear and parazonium. Minted in Rome. RIC II.1, p. 325, no. 804. The coin is 26.7mm diameter, 3.2mm thick and 7.14g.
