Medieval copper alloy purse bar fragment, 51mm long, 6mm in diameter and weighing 7.72 grams.The object is circular in corss section and rectangular in form, tapering slightly in width. It has a recessed short projection at its wider end. It is decorated on one side with four transverse linear incisions, which may have an X inscribed between? on the opposite side is a series of four circular depressions and a possible chevron like incision? to the left of this is a linear scar, which would have housed a flat sub rectangular projection with circular holes for sewing on the purse. …

A Roman copper-alloy 'vulvate' or 'coffee bean' mount dating to circa AD 150 - 300. The mount comprises a hexagonal plate with concave sides. Protruding from the centre is a raised oval boss decorated with a longitudinal slit. At the reverse of the mount is a single rearward projecting horizontal bar. There are parallels recorded on the PAS database; WMID-EDEF42; YORYM-9BD246 was discovered in North Yorkshire and BM-42E141 and BM-8BA078discovered in Darlington which has a more complete plate. A complete but damaged cast copper-alloy two piece button of the Suffolk Yeomanry Cavalry, dating c. 1825-1850. The button has been manufactured in two pieces, a domed sheet-metal front section which has been slipped onto a rear circular piece with a loop projecting from its midpoint. Copper alloy awl/point that is a long thin rod that has an expanded waist (5mm diameter) towards one end. The longer side (from the expansion) is 40mm long and has a circular cross-section (3mm diameter) which very gently tapers to the tip, unfortunately the terminal is truncated. The shorter side (form the expansion) is 14mm long, and has a rectangular cross-section (2mm diameter) that narrows to a fine point; this side may have been used as a tang and could have been inserted into a socket.

A complete post-Medieval to Modern copper-alloy plated spoon (c. 1800-c. 1925). The majority of the stem is missing. The piriform (pear-shaped) bowl is deeply concave at the front. It has angular shoulders and the portion of the stem is rectangular in cross-section. This spoon is corroded with traces of a white metal coating.
