A very worn post Medieval copper alloy Nuremburg jetton possibly of rose / orb type. Possible date range c. 1500-1650. Inscriptions on both faces are illegible. Both obverse and reverse types are unclear due to severity of wear. One side of the jetton is bent.

A complete Medieval copper alloy French jeton made in Tournai dating to c.1415-1497, Shield of France type, (Mitchiner 1988, page 227, no 687).
The obverse shows the Shield of France bearing three complete lis, with an 'o' above. The inscription reads: X AVE MARIA o GRACIA.
The reverse shows a triple stranded straight cross fleuretty in a four-arched tressure. In the internal angles there are two V's and two M's. In the external angles there are four o's.

An incomplete copper alloy palstave axe head dating from the Mid Bronze Age, c.1250-1000 BC. The axe is rectangular is shape in the body, widening slightly towards the cutting edge, which is sub-circular and curved. A hammered and trimmed casting seam is visible along both sides.One side flares out slight more to the other. In cross section the cutting edge is triangular in shape. A complete probable Early Medieval sword pyramid mount dating from c. 580-800 AD. Although the term 'pyramid' is generally applied to this form of object due to its shape normally being a square pyramid, this example is in the form of a cone. The object is plain and undecorated. It is hollow underneath and at the base there is an integral sub-rectangular sectioned bar running across the centre for attachment to the sword belt. The mount has a mid-green patina.
The mount is 20mm in diameter, 11mm in height, and weighs 6.09g.

A complete copper alloy unlooped palstave axehead, dating to the middle Bronze Age, 1500-1400 BC.
The palstave is rectangular in shape with a central stop ridge which is worn on both sides. In cross section from the top the axehead is H shaped. After the stop ridge the axehead flares out to form a wide curved blade which measures 72.9mm in width. In profile the blade is triangular and narrows to a sharp edge. Description: A complete heavy gold finger ring of late medieval or early post-medeival date (c. AD 1400-1550). The finger ring is in very good condition with only slight damage to some edges which probably occurred after its loss. The finger ring has an octagonal bezel raised above the decorative banding of the hoop. The bezel has a rope-like border which encloses a motif and black-letter inscription.
