Roman plate brooch dating from the second century in the form of a trefoil with a missing hinged pin and catchplate, Hattatt, 1122/1616. The upper surface of the brooch has three raised bluntly pointed domes each 10mm in diameter and 6mm high. A broken small loop projects from one face above the lower hinged pin attachment. The object is in fair condition, is 34mm long, 28mm wide, 14mm thick and weighs 10.08g.

An incomplete copper-alloy La Tene brooch of late Iron Age / early Roman date, c.100 BC - AD 100. The brooch is formed from a single piece of metal. The bow is rectangular in section, tapering at the head to a narrower integral spring with only part of one turn remaining. The catchplate is formed by the foot of the bow being hammered at a 90 degree angle to create a flat sub-triangular plate which has been damaged. The object is in fair condition, is 50mm long, 3mm wide, 15mm thick and weighs 3.31g.

The brooch is incomplete, missing the pin, foot, catch-plate and one of the wings (with a surviving length of 52.0mm, a surviving depth of 20.7mm and a weight of 17.1g). Roman copper alloy bow brooch of T-shaped type and of 1st or 2nd century AD date
The brooch is fragmentary, represented by the head and top of the bow only (with a surviving length of 17.9mm, a surviving depth of 11.5mm and a weight of 10.0mm). The missing pin was hinged within oval-sectioned tubular wings, now truncated on one side (with a surviving width of 37.9mm and a diameter of 6.1mm x 7.2mm). The brooch fragmentary, missing the leg and pin (with a surviving length of 41.1mm, a surviving depth of 15.8mm and a weight of 16.8g). An incomplete copper alloy headstud brooch of Roman date (AD 75 - 200). The object is of the derivative Thealby type (Continental). The end of the pin has not been retained. The catchplate, wings and lower bow are intact. From the reverse of the head the tubular lugs through which the retained upper portion of the pin is hinged and the axis bar is retained.

An incomplete copper alloy Brooch of Late Iron Age date (100 BC-AD 100). The object is a Le Tene III type and is formed from one piece of copper alloy wire which is square in section. This forms the body and catchplate. The wings, spring and pin are all missing due to an old abraded break. The body flattens towards the end to form the triangular, recurved, catchplate.

An incomplete copper alloy Brooch of Roman date (AD 25-65). The object is the lower portion of a Langton Down type brooch. The object comprises the lower portion of the bow, which is rectangular in form, triangular in section and with a rounded foot. It has moulded decoration a central vertical rib decorated with narrow vertical grooves or flutes on the edges. On the back face of the foot is an integrally cast catchplate. Incomplete enamelled skeuomorphic plate brooch, of sandal-soled type with a small lozengiform knop knop projecting from the heel, the enamelled body with red enamel at the pointed toe end and a straight transverse change towards the mid-point to off-white enamel filling the heel end. On the reverse are two rearward facing perforated lug that would have held the spring support bar. An incomplete copper-alloy Early Medieval (Anglo Saxon) disc brooch. The front has a raised backward-looking animal with the full four legs visible, a raised and upward curled tail and a neck with four outer notches (mane looking). The head has a pellet eye, open mouth and a pointed ear. The central motif is surrounded by a pair of denticular circular lines. The back face is plain and slightly concave with the incomplete and bent catch-plate. Part of the edge of the brooch is missing.
