Two body sherds of Roman New Forest fineware ceramic vessels dating to the period AD 260-410. One sherd is decorated and measures 48.48mm in length and 40.8mm in width, the other one 45.32mm in length and 40.36mm in width. The fabricis dark grey with a black slip. One of the sherds is decorated with an incised groove, which has an orange-tinted beige coloured border. On top of this is a decoration of the same colour, consisting of shapes resembling eights next to each other, the circles of the eights being incised.

Three rim sherds of a Roman Oxfordshire fineware ceramic vessels dating to the period AD 250-410. One sherd measures 59.24mm in length and 39.42mm in width, another one 57.36mm in length and 31.05mm in width and the smallest one 49.92mm in length and 26.84mm in width. They are 4.23mm thick and together they weigh 46.47g. The fabric has abundant orange inclusions and has a reduced grey fabric with an orangle slip.

The obverse shows a bare-headed male bust, the reverse is in a classical style showing a draped standing female figure holding a tall cross in her left hand. She is leaning with her right elbow on an altar. The altar is supporting an urn. The token is 32.34 mm in diameter and weighs 9.27 g. The legends are largely illegible.

A post medieval copper alloy trade token farthing of John Watson, from Gravesend, dated AD1653. Williamson (1889, no. 308). John Watson was Mayor of Gravesend in 1660 and again in 1670. A copper-alloy hooked mount, possibly a baldrick fitting dating to the seventeenth century AD. The mount comprises a D-sectioned body which is cruciform in plan. The body possesses a central circular perforation filled with iron corrosion products. On the underside of the body, there is a small circular depression surrounding this perforation. At one end, there extends a bifurcated terminal, at the other, a D-section hook which is bent back on itself. The mount measures 32mm in length, 14mm in width and 2mm in thickness.

A copper-alloy stud or mount, possibly an element of horse harness and dating to the twelfth to fifteenth centuries AD. The stud is circular in plan with a circular-section lug extending from its underside. The stud head comprises a sheet of copper-alloy with repousse decoration in the form of a rampant griffin facing left. The stud measures 21mm in diameter. The sheet head has a thickness of 2mm and with the lug, the stud measures 7mm in thickness. A similar example is published in Clark (1995), p. 70-1, no. 79 where it is suggested that it was a harness stud or mount.

One element of a two-part, cast copper-alloy swivel, of medieval date, about AD 1100 to 1500. It consists of a D-sectioned ring of metal with an oval extension at one end, reminiscent of a pierced bezel to take a bolt which would connect it to the other, similar element.
