An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman lock-pin of 1st to 3rd century AD date. The pin survives as a flat, circular disc, decorated with two circumferential grooves. From the upper surface of the disc there extends the remains of a small iron lug which appears to be broken close to the main body. From the underside of the disc there is the remains of a rectangular iron pin with extensive iron corosion spreading outside the pin area onto the underside of the disc, The lock pin disc measures 28.78mm in diameter , 8,52mm in depth, and 12.36mm including the iron pin on the base. A clipped halfpenny of a Henry VIII (AD 1509-1547), dating to the period AD 1509-1526. The initial mark looks like a pomegranate (Canterbury mint) however the lettering on the reverse appears to read [Lon]don, which would indicate a portcullis or castle initial mark. The coin is hard to read because of size and condition and it may also be a mule. Lombardic lettering. North N1779/1780.

A Post-Medieval copper alloy strap fitting, probably dating to c. 1500-1650. The mount consists of of an abraded sub-rectangular plate with a narrowed waist towards its base; the plate would probably originally been trilobed on its top edge. The front of the plate is decorated with a deeply engraved foliate motif, or 'vine-scroll' decoration, the reverse is plain. From the reverse project a pair of integral rectangular-sectioned prongs which have been bent at around 90 degrees to meet in the middle, forming a sub-rectangular loop.
