A clipped halfpenny of a Henry VIII (AD 1509-1547), dating to the period AD 1509-1526. The initial mark looks like a pomegranate (Canterbury mint) however the lettering on the reverse appears to read [Lon]don, which would indicate a portcullis or castle initial mark. The coin is hard to read because of size and condition and it may also be a mule. Lombardic lettering. North N1779/1780.

An incomplete and damaged copper alloy annular brooch of 13th century date. There are six shallow collets arranged equidistantly around the frame, all retaining some amount of the decorative white paste. The constriction in the brooch frame would have held the pin which is now missing. See Read 2001, p102 and 108 fig 68 no 781 for comparison.
