~~Fragment of samian wall sherd, the outside is decorated in low relief possible depicting a foliate border. ~~The recorder is indebted to Robert Hopkins for he's following help with the identification of this vessel. 'This is almost certainly a Dr 37, and from South Gaul. The sherd is upside-down; the design is the basal wreath of a trifid plant motif. This type of wreath is common on Dr 37's of the Flavian Trajanic period, and in the date range of AD 75-110' (Hopkins, Pers comm, 2018)
