An incomplete Medieval silver penny of Henry V (1413-1422), minted at York. Initial mark: Cross pattee. Dated 1413-1422. Class D (North 1991: 71, ref: 1401). The flan is abraded and clipped.
Obverse description: Crowned bust facing, Crowned bust facing within a beaded circle and a full annulet to the right of crown. Obverse inscription: +hE[NRIC REX ANG LIE FR]AN.
Reverse description: Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant, quatrefoil at centre of cross. Reverse inscription: CIVI/TA[S EBO/RACI].

Obverse description: Crowned bust facing, mullet to left of crown and trefoil to right of crown. Obverse inscription: +h[ENR]IC R[E]ANG[LIE FRAN].
Reverse description: Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant, quatrefoil at centre of cross. Reverse inscription: CIV[I/T]AS/EB[O]/[RA]CI (double saltire stop after S).
