One face is stamped with the upper case letter E with serifs. The other face has a Roman numeral I and a Maltese cross motif. The object has a light grey.

A lead-alloy button of Medieval to post-Medieval date (c.1300-1600).
The head of the button circular and has been damaged, but may have been flat originally.The upper surface is decorated with relief-moulded ovals marking the quarters.On the reverse there is a casting seam which passes through a heavy, rectangular, loop.

A lead alloy spindle whorl, probably dating from the late medieval to early post medieval period (c AD 1300-1500). It is bi-conical, with a circular perforation. The perforation has an internal diameter of 9.46mm. Decorated on both sides with relief pellets and V shapes. The object is in a good condition and has a powdery white patina.

Copper alloy sword belt fitting dating from the 17th century.The oval plate has a voided, curve-armed cross with a flower motif made up of 9 annulets at the centre.In the crescents formed by the cross are lines of larger annulets.At one end is a rounded pierced attachment-knop.This has a small projection and has 9 small ring and dot motifs around the hole. There is a slightly projecting ridged collar at the junction of the plate with the hook.There is a rivet hole near the collar which retains a separate copper-alloy rivet.

Copper alloy sword scabbard chape dating from the medieval period (c. AD 1400-1600).The chape is made up for four distinct sections comprising a rounded lower section with a knop terminal at the base, this section is decorated with a scallop shell design in the form of a series of radiating grooves.The section above this is a narrow undecorated band. Above this is an openwork section with poorly cast diagonal openings.The final, top section, of the chape is also plain and undecorated.For a similar example on the PAS database see GLO-D8EC4E.

Lead-alloy spindle whorl, dating from the medieval period (AD1200-1500). The whorl is biconical in shape with moulded decoration on both sides. On both sides the decoration comprises raised zig-zag lines and apparently random placement of pellets. The central perforation has an internal diameter of 11mm

An almost complete copper alloy strap mount in the form of an acorn. Probably seventeenth century (AD 1600 - AD 1700). The front of the mount is divided into two.The upper half is plan and has a small knop at the apex.The lower half is decorated with incuse hatching to mimic the acorn seed.At the base of the object is a small projection representing the stalk.The rear of the object has two integral spikes face has the remains of two integral spikes.The object is in good condition with a mid to dark green patina.

Fragment of a copper alloy Post Medieval chafing dish handle (c.1450-1550) The handle has a sub-trapezoidal frame, with the short edge at the top, from which it would have been attached to the vessel, and a wider lower edge, shaped into a double arches with a central heart-shaped indent.
