An incomplete large copper alloy plate brooch. A plate brooch in the form of rosette bow brooch. Part of a brooch of composite construction. A large plate with traces of white metal coating on the front face. The plate has a circular upper paert with a narrowed leg below. A late medieval copper alloy French crown type jetton c.1385-1422. The obverse depicts a crown with a central fleur de lis in the centre and two smaller lateral lis and three mullets across the face of the crown. The legend is blundered, starting with a cross patee +BADAIVPABVRADBVAPBADVAI The reverse has a triple stranded straight cross fleuretty within a four arched tressure. There are letter A's within the four angles formed by the tressure and also inside the tressure adjacent to these.

A complete Medieval copper-alloy composite strap-end (c. 1350-c. 1400). The strap-end consists of two plates of equal form as well as a small piece of decorative plate attached to the front of the terminal end. Both plates are roughly rectangular in plan with a slight decrease in width towards the bottom. At the attachment end the width is 12.9mm and the width close to the cut-out waist is 10.3mm. A post-medieval lead alnage bag seal likely dating to the reign of James I (1603-1625). The seal survives oval in plan with the sides and attachment tab folded over the front of the object. The front is emblazoned with a trifolate crown motif, with high central fleur. There is a fleur de lis below The reverse is plain and flat. A similar alnage seal of James as indicated by the initials "I-R" and thought to be of a pre-restoration type therefore James I rather than James II, is illustrated by Egan (1994, No.125, Fig.26)

An incomplete copper alloy brooch. A Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type. The wings are complete, open to the top and rear and terminating in a perforated wing cap at either end. These are sub-oval, expanding backwards and have an off-centre drilled circular perforation, holding a copper alloy axis bar in situ. The wings are plain. An incomplete copper alloy Langton Down brooch. The short wings are complete, open to the the rear and at either end. The wings are filled with the fused remnants of the copper alloy spring for the missing pin.There is a copper alloy axis bar visible at the ends of the wings. The head of the bow is arched upwards from the wings, curving downwards and tapering towards the break. The bow is decorated with moulded longitudinal ridges. It is oval in cross section.
