A complete copper alloy strap end. A Roman cvalry strap terminal or apron mount.. A D-sectioned plate of curvilinear outline with a rounded attachment loop at the top which retains a copper alloy rivet in the circular hole. Beyond it the plate is baluster shaped with a rounded, circular cross sectioned knop at the end. At the rear, above the knop is a short upward projecting lip.

A complete Medieval copper-alloy composite strap-end (c. 1350-c. 1400).
The strap-end consists of two plates of equal form as well as a small piece of decorative plate attached to the front of the terminal end. Both plates are roughly rectangular in plan with a slight decrease in width towards the bottom. At the attachment end the width is 12.9mm and the width close to the cut-out waist is 10.3mm.
