An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of medieval date, c. AD 1250 - 1400. Only the expanded front portion of the frame remains, the buckle proper having been lost to old worn breaks. The fragment is sub-triangular with slightly inwardly curving sides. The outer terminal of the expanded edge has also been lost to worn breaks. The upper surface is decorated with a shallow incised double border of incised dots. A median line of dots is also present. The reverse is flat and undecorated. Palaeolithic (Upper) to Neolithic (Later) unretouched blade, 37mm long, 12mm wide, 3mm thick and 1.6g in weight. Made on a light semi-translucent caramel brown flint that is turning an opaque light greyish blue through patination. The blade has been struck from a unidirectional blade core as evidence by a number of blade-like removals on the dorsal face. The blade has not been modified.

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of medieval date, c.AD 1250 - 1500. The buckle is a single loop D-shape with a narrowed strap bar. Three off-centre transverse grooves are present on the outer loop of the frame and may have served as rests for the pin. The pin no longer remains. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The buckle is 14.7mm long, 16.4mm wide, 2.7mm thick and weighs 1.4g. Similar examples are illustrated in Whitehead (1996) p.18 and are dated to circa AD 1250 - 1500.

An incomplete copper alloy hooked strap fitting probably dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1600-1700). The object comprises of a loop with two extending arms of near equal length. There are the remains of two circular rivets on each arm. The metal has a mid green coloured patina with areas of dark red corroded patina around the rivets suggesting they are iron. A similar object has been recorded on the database with the suggestion that the object could be a fitting for a sword belt or sword hanger. See record no. WMID-476485. The object as a whole when viewed from above is the shape of an flat ended teardrop. From the side there is a curvature that follows through into a semi-closed hook-like projection.
