An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of medieval date, c. AD 1250 - 1400. Only the expanded front portion of the frame remains, the buckle proper having been lost to old worn breaks. The fragment is sub-triangular with slightly inwardly curving sides. The outer terminal of the expanded edge has also been lost to worn breaks. The upper surface is decorated with a shallow incised double border of incised dots. A median line of dots is also present. The reverse is flat and undecorated. An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of medieval date, c.AD 1250 - 1500. The buckle is a single loop D-shape with a narrowed strap bar. Three off-centre transverse grooves are present on the outer loop of the frame and may have served as rests for the pin. The pin no longer remains. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The buckle is 14.7mm long, 16.4mm wide, 2.7mm thick and weighs 1.4g. Similar examples are illustrated in Whitehead (1996) p.18 and are dated to circa AD 1250 - 1500.

Complete copper-alloy circular sharp-hooked tag, dating to the post-medieval period (c. 1500 - 1700 AD). Class E, Type 3 (Read, 2008). There is an angular attachment loop with a rectangular aperture integrally cast to a circular openwork plate. The edges of this plate are beaded and engrailed and the openwork pattern within is based around an equal-armed cross with central pellet, with four circular holes in each quarter. The buckle frame is oval in shape, with a pointed and grooved pin rest and narrowed and offset strap bar. The upper face of the buckle frame is angled, giving it a triangular section. The strap bar, in contrast, is flat on both faces and rectangular in section. The buckle has a dark green-brown patina. It is 17.79mm in length, 19.09mm in width and 2.46mm thick.
