A copper-alloy mount, probably Medieval. It is sub-rectangular in shape with both of the long edges inwardly curving towards the flat transverse end terminals. It has a dark green patina. Overall length: 65.0mm. Weight: 6.21g The front is convex and close inspection of the upper moulded surface reveals the undulating sides of the mount are in the shape of a fish's profile. A Post Medieval ceramic weight, possible a seine net sinker dating from AD 1600-1800. The net sinker is axe shaped, it is triangle in plan and it has a tapering cross-section. There is a perforation at the peak and a knife cut V shaped groove running through from back to front along the top edge. The fabric of the weight is oxidised and orange in colour. The weight has a strong resemblance to Roman loom weights and it is possible it may be identified as such, though the knife cut groove on the top edge differentiate the two artefacts. A silver mount, strap fitting or book clasp of Medieval date, about AD 1400 - 1450. It is perhaps most likely to be a book clasp of Howsam type A.7. It is rectangular and has two plates, both the same size, held together by two silver rivets with domed heads, one at each end, both on the centre line. Fragment of a lead-alloy object of uncertain identity, of post-medieval to modern date (c. 1700 - 1930 AD), probably a toy model. The fragment appears to have slotted onto something. It is sub-triangular in shape, tapering from a relatively straight if slightly chipped and dented edge to the jagged edge where it has broken off. A fragment of a probably Post Medieval lead cloth seal. The object consists of a fragment (maybe only 20-30 per cent) of disc 1 of a two- or four-disc seal, with an integral rivet projecting from the reverse. The fragment is irregular in shape, with worn breaks on all sides, which obscures its original dimensions. Palaeolithic (Upper) to Neolithic (Later) unretouched blade, 51mm long, 20mm wide, 7mm thick and 8.4g in weight. Made on a flint/chert that has turned a multitude of coulours through patination, including lght browns, blues and greys. The distal end still retains its original cortex as do both lateral edges. The central part of the dorsal face exhibits a flaked area of a number of unidirectional scars. Early stages of the creation of a blade core using a cortical nodule of stone presumably from a river.

An almost complete copper-alloy folding strap clasp buckle of medieval date, c.AD 1350 - 1450. The frame is sub-rectangular with a narrowed and offset rectangular bar. The opposite end of the frame is circular in section and also narrowed with a rotating closure plate looped around it. The remains of a folded strap plate are also present looped around the strap bar. The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The clasp is 21.1mm long, 12.2mm wide, 4.1mm thick and weighs 1.8g. Similar examples are illustrated in Whitehead p.41 and are dated to circa AD 1350 - 1450.

An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy single-loop 'D'-shaped buckle frame (c. 1250 - c. 1500). The pin is missing. The upper face is slightly convex and the rear face is slightly concave. A single collared knop projects centrally from the outer curved edge. No pin remains. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The buckle is 28.6mm long, 19mm wide, 4mm thick and weighs 2.7g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead, p.21, no.85 and is dated to circa AD 1250 - 1400.

A copper-alloy post-medieval D shaped double looped buckle, dating to c1550-1650. The frame has six moulded knops on both outer edges of the frame, set in groups of two. The inside edge of the frame and the pin bar is bevelled, the pin bar is sub triangular in cross section. There is a knop at either end of the pin bar, which has traces of iron staining. The pin is now missing. The buckle has a dark green patina, and measures 39.2mm in length, 35.6mm in width and weighs 10.22g. Similar buckles can be seen in Whitehead 1996, 63.
