Post Medieval (16th century) chafing dish handle: The copper alloy chafing dish handle is complete and is an inverted heart-shaped with a truncated upper edge. At the upper truncated edge there is an attachment fitting. The edges of the handle are slightly bevelled and file marks are visible on these surfaces. The attachment fitting is a thick oval framed lug with a flattened terminal which has a short circular platform protruding from the base. The lug also has file marks over the surface.
