Mesolithic (Early) to Neolithic (Later) unretouched blade, 42mm long, 20mm wide, 8mm thick and 7g in weight. Made on a flint that has turned completely light grey and opaque through patination. The dorsal face possesses a parallel ridge created by unidirectioanl flaking. The flint/chert is of poor quality evidenced by the butt shattering upon striking.

The dorsal face possesses a central and parallel ridge left of which a flake scar indicates the core was worked orthogonally and to the right the flake scars indicate unidirectional flaking.

Mesolithic (Early) to Neolithic (Later) unretouched blade, 25mm long, 12mm wide, 3mm thick and 1.3g in weight. Made on a translucent light caramel brown flint this unretouched blade has been struck from the early stages of a blade core. The proximal end is missing, either by breaking during knapping, use or post-depositionally. The dorsal face is mostly cortical apart from a straight and parallel ridge running down the left lateral side of the blade producting a long blade-like flake scar.
