An incomplete cast copper alloy one-piece La Tene III Nauheim derivative brooch dating to the Late Iron Age / early Roman period c. AD 25-80. At the head of the brooch are the four spring coils but the pin is missing. The bow of the brooch is broadly flat in section with a slight raised rib down the centre - it is unclear if there is punched dot decoration down the bow in the 'Lowbury' style. The lower half of the brooch is missing. Similar to Mackreth's (2011) ND Class 2c. Lowbury brooches appear to have gone out of use by AD 80. Although they may date to the Roman period …

A incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman brooch probably of the trumpet derivative class and dating to the period AD 75-175. The brooch is missing the upper bow, head and pin. The bow of the brooch is decorated at the top with a (broken) panel of three raised vertical ribs. Below this is a contraction with a raised, stylised acanthus-like collar in the centre. The lower section of the brooch has raised diagonal moulding above a sub-triangular sectioned stem which tapers towards the foot, which has a rounded flat-based terminal knop. The wide catch-plate on the reverse is complete.

The bow of the brooch has a rectangular panel arranged vertically with a moulded raised sawtooth-style rib down the centre. The lower section of the bow tapers towards a rounded terminal knop. The catch-plate is retained on the reverse.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Late Iron Age to early Roman Langton Down style brooch, dating to around AD 25-60. The bow and arms are cast in one piece - the bow is flat with vertical raised ribs running down its length as decoration. The arms are tubular and the remains of the spring is retained within. The arms are undecorated. The lower bow, foot and catch-plate do not survive.

An incomplete Roman Developed T-shaped brooch dating to the period AD 50 - 150, with a hinged mechanism and a head loop. It is missing the shank of the pin. The head loop (5.5mm x 1.6mm) sits on top of cylindrical wings (spanning 21.3mm wide with a max. 3.6mm diameter). The central 0.5mm diameter piercing is countersunk from the reverse. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman strip bow brooch in very good condition, dating to the 1st century AD (c. AD 40-70). Only the upper third of the brooch survives, comprising the rolled arms of the head of the brooch and part of the bow. The wings are divided by a short v-shaped slot at the top where the hinged pin is retained but this is a different alloy to the rest of the brooch, which has a bluish-green patina.
