An incomplete early post-medieval (c.1500-1650) copper alloy double oval buckle frame, missing most of one frame but retaining its copper alloy pin. The surviving loop has angled outside edges triangular in cross-section. The pin is D-shaped in cross-section (being flat to the reverse) and curls around the central bar (rectangular in cross-section, being taller than it is wide). The bar extends beyond the frame with a moulded rib at either end.
