A complete Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy cup weight (c. 1485-c. 1547). This cup weight, part of a set, is circular in plan with straight sides that flare out from the base towards the plain rim. The base is convex and the floor of the cup is concave. At the centre of the floor there is a central circular pit which is probably related to lathe-work. Adjacent to the pit are two stamped motifs: a rose and a lower case 'h'. A complete and corroded Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy square uniface coin-weight (c. 1464-c. 1642). This coin weight is for an angel and the front depicts St Michael spearing a dragon. The rear face is plain. Length: 15.4mm; width: 14.8mm; thickness: 2.6mm. Weight: 3.66g. (56.4 grains). The coin-weight is British and dates from between the 15th - 16th centuries, having first been issued in 1464 (Withers 1995: 21). A complete but slightly damaged post-Medieval lead alloy powder measure cap used for measuring a charge of gunpowder (c. 1600-c. 1700). Courtney 1988: 2, fig. 3. The open end was probably oval in plan prior to being squashed slightly and the closed end is oval in plan. It is sub-rectangular in side view and the rim is plain.
