A complete cast copper-alloy terret ring dating from the Middle Iron Age to early Roman periods, c. 100 BC -100 AD. This example is of Lewis' 'simple' type, being circular in plan and section, demonstrating two projecting circular collars at its lower edge which enclose a constricted strap-bar. At one end of the latter is concreted ferrous product which likely represents part of the means by which the terret was originally attached. An incomplete and somewhat squashed cast copper-alloy zoomorphic enamelled plate brooch in the form of a sitting cockerel dating to the Roman period, c. 100-200 AD. The tail is mostly missing in old damage and the sides somewhat squashed in post-depositional damage, though otherwise the object is preserved completely intact with its pin still remaining. A complete cast lead seal matrix dating to the Medieval period, c. 1200-1300. It is vesica shaped (pointed oval) and flat, demonstrating an undrilled lug at one end on its upper surface, the latter accompanied by moulded vegetal frond-like decoration. The underside of the matrix is engraved with the central design of a fleur de lis within an inner solid border, accompanied by the inscription; S' MATIL[...]W[..]O[..]E (Seal of Matilda.....). A complete cast lead seal matrix dating to the Medieval period, c. 1200-1300. It is circular and flat, with moulded scallop-shell decoration on its upper surface and a slightly squashed integrally cast suspension lug at one end. On the underside of the matrix, the central design of a six-petalled flower within an inner border is accompanied by the inscription; S MATH LE FVLL'. (Seal of Matthew Le Full). Preserved in fair condition with a browny grey patina, it measures 23.12mm in diameter, 6.71mm thick at the suspension lug, and weighs 12.41g.

Cast copper alloy Post Medieval Jew's or Jaws harp. Lozengiform sectioned parallel arms extending from the ends of an oval loop. On one face the upper inner edge of the loop has a rebate to take the missing iron tang. A similar example with a description of use can be seen on this database at DEV-FB6E4D. Circa 1550-1700AD.

A Post-Medieval copper alloy probable book or furniture fitting, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1800. The object is incomplete, and now comprises of a rectangular plate with openwork decoration, the surviving elements of which suggest a largely symetrical design. At the complete and the object terminates in a flat, blunt and rear-facing hook. The decoration consists of a triple-stranded transverse collar flanked by openwork and flanged semicircles, with a small knop at the apex of each.
