Cast copper alloy Medieval to early Post-Medieval circular buckle frame with slightly narrowed central bar and missing pin. Frame is roughly semi-circular in cross-section, and bar is sub-trapezoidal. There is no decoration, but there are substantial filing marks as evidence of post-casting fettling. The buckle has a grey patina. A close parallel can be seen at PUBLIC-26C7AF. Circa 1350-1650 AD.

A fragment of an unidentified post-Medieval or Modern copper-alloy and wooden object. This hinge-like object has a cylindrical tube with a transverse pin through the centre. One arm appears be missing. The incomplete arm consists of strips of wood and copper-alloy kept together by two copper-alloy pins. On one side of the central piece of wood there is a single strip of copper-alloy. On the other side there is a strip of copper-alloy then a strip of wood and then another strip of copper-alloy. An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy watch winder (c. 1825-c. 1900). The winding key and attachment loop is missing. A die stamped oval plate has the stubs of the attachment loop at the top and a small collar at the bottom. The collar is circular in cross-section. Each side of the plate has raised decoration. An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy military button or stud of the Isle of Wight (or Vectis) Cavalry (c. 1817). The attachment loop is missing but a scar can be seen. This button is flat at the front and rear. The front bears the word 'VECTIS' in capital letters. The front has a smooth white metal coating and the rear is brown and green. Diameter: 15.0mm; thickness: 0.6mm. Weight: 1.04g.

A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy dress hook (1500-1650). Read Class E, Type 3. The dress-hook is sub-circular in plan. The main body is decorated with a moulded-relief openwork design featuring a raised linear circle with two elongated knops to both sides. The area within the circle is plain. A rectangular attachment loop extends from one end. At the opposite end there is rearwards projecting hook that terminates with a sharp point.
