A complete cast copper-alloy Roman nail cleaner dating to the late Roman period (c. AD 250-410). The nail cleaner has a suspension loop at the top and a short neck. From the thin shoulders the leaf-shaped blade tapers from the middle of the body to a parallel stem with bifid terminal. There is decoration on upper portion of of the main body which consists of an incised saltire with double linears above and below. The reverse is undecorated.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy buckle plate dating to the Medieval period, c. 1250-1400. Only one half of the plate survives. It is rectangular in plan, with two 'tabs' extending from its front edge and two rivet holes placed near the front and back edges respectively. The upper surface of the plate is decorated with a rocker arm border and additional curvilinear rocker arm motifs through its midsection. It is broadly triangular in plan, with concave sides and a convex base, apparently truncated slightly at its upper edge. A Roman drop handle of rolled copper-alloy dating to c. 50-409. The terminals are still hooked and the surface is worn. A utilitarian component this example has no decorative mouldings. Depth of 'drop' is 25.6mm. Drop handles were used as carrying handles or drawer handles on a wide variety of pieces of furniture in the Roman period, most commonly on wooden boxes and chests (Crummy 1983:81 nos. 2137, 2142), but also on gridirons and wooden tubs (Hanemann 2014, Abb. 55, 81).

A complete cast copper-alloy belt mount dating to the 17th century. It is broadly triangular in plan, with lobed sides and a white metal coating applied to its upper surface. From its rear face, two bent-over attachment lugs project. Preserved in fair condition with a silvery green patina, it measures 26.18mm long, 7.38mm wide at its midpoint, and 5.63mm thick where the rearmost lug projects from the back of the mount. It weighs 1.64g. For virtually identical parallels, see LANCUM-4B65B1 and WMID-CA7F21 on the PAS database.

The mount is in the shape of an acorn, which is broadly oval in shape and has knops at opposing ends. The reverse is slightly concave and has the remains of two integral studs. The remains of an iron shank can be seen on the underside of the mount. Fittings such as these are usually described as lockpins or furniture studs and are discussed by Allason Jones (1985) and again by Allason-Jones and McKay (1985, Coventinas Well, A shrine on Hadrians Wall). Fragment of a post medieval lead cloth seal. Part of a four-disc seal, the remaining section is the two outer disks of the conjoined pairs joined by the rivet from the back of one disk running through a hole in the other. The discs appear plaina nd the design would probably have been on the inner discs. It measures 15.9mm long by 11.2mm wide, 6.4 mm thick excluding the tab and weighs 3.97g. See SOM-4AEAFC for a complete four-disc seal or similar form. Without the design it is not possibly to date this precisely but most are AD 1500-1800.

A lead alloy probable vessel repair or pot mend, dating from the Roman to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 43-1700). The object is roughly oval in plan and consists of one large side from which projects a slightly smaller sub-triangular piece of lead. This would have passed through the hole in the vessel to secure the mend. The object has a creamy white patina. As Oakden (2017) states, 'pot mends of this form are found in both Roman and Medieval periods, as a common way to repair broken vessels.
