Copper alloy Hiberno Norse strap end (Thomas Class F) double sided with a perforated roundel dating 9th-10th century and likely to have been produced in Dublin (Thomas pers comm). The object is broadly rectangular but tapers at one end. The decoration comprises a roundel at the tapered end with a circular perforation. Running the length of the object is a panel of interlace.
See Thomas 2004, 5 No. 33 for a very similar object. Also, LANCUM-2AD712 and NMS-627136 on the PAS database.

A lead alloy spindle whorl, probably dating from the late medieval to early post medieval period (c AD 1300-1500). It is bi-conical, with a circular perforation. The perforation has an internal diameter of 9.2mm.One surface of the whorl is decorated in relief with ring and dots separated by pairs of vertical lines. The other side is decorated in relief with crossed lines creating triangular shapes and vertical lines. The object is in a good condition and has a powdery white patina.

Silver groat of Elizabeth I of the second (recoinage) issue, initial mark is a cross crosslet on the reverse dating to 1560-61.The obverse legend is illegible but would have read [ELIZABETH D G ANG FRA ET HIB REGINA].Part of a squared shield is visible on the reverse with the legend +POSVI [DEV ADIVTOREM MEV].

An incomplete cast copper alloy brooch of Roman date (AD75-120), most likely a hinged colchester derivative.The wings are cylindrical. The pin and catch plate are missing. The axial bar appears to still be in place and is encased within the head. The surface of the brooch is slightly pitted with a dark brown patina and appears to be undecorated.

A complete post-medieval square copper alloy coin weight dating c1577-1603 produced in Antwerp by Hans Foncq.The obverse depicts a ship with rose, with the letter R next to the mast.This R indicates that the weight is to weigh a Rose noble or Ryal.The reverse depicts an upright right hand for Antwerp and flanked by the initials HF for Hans Foncq.There is a number 4 above the F which may indicate the date (possibly 1584 or 1594).

Copper alloy strap fitting (belt mount) dating of probably post-medieval date (c.1500-1700).The object is circular in plan with four projection knops at the cardinal points.There are four perforations at the centre creating an openwork pattern in the form of a cross.Around the outer edge is a row of raised pellets.At the centre is a single large pellet.The reverse is plain but has the remains of two projection, presumably for attachment.

Unidentified copper alloy object of uncertain date. The object appears to to depict the eyes and snout of an animal. The back of the object is slightly hollow. The lentoid eyes lead to the suggestion that it could be the snout from a bulls head bucket mount dating from the Late Iron Age to Roman dating, circa 1st - century BC to 1st century AD.

A near complete Medieval copper alloy single loop sub-triangular buckle c1250-1400. The outer edge of the look is expanded and terminates in a trefoil shaped moulding. There is a narrowed and offset strap bar. The top surface of the buckle is decorated with and has a notch for the pin to rest in. The back of the brooch is plain . The pin is a strip of copper bent round the strap bar, the tip of the pin is missing. The buckle is well preserved and has a dark green patina.
