An incomplete copper alloy early medieval (late Anglo-Saxon) strap end. The object consists of three sections - a flattened, wedge-shaped split end to accommodate the strap, a zoomorphic terminal in the same plane as the wedge and an openwork tongue sitting at a right-angle to the terminal. The wedge-shaped end has an in situ copper alloy rivet through its outer end securing both halves together. An incomplete copper alloy early medieval (Anglo-Saxon) pin. Only the upper part of the shaft and the terminal survive. The inner part of the terminal is an elongated cuboid shape with faceted corners. Each of the four outer faces has four engraved ring-and-dots arranged in a lozenge shape. An incomplete copper-alloy lozenge shaped plate brooch of Roman date, c.AD 100-200. A raised lozenge shaped rim is inset from the edges of the plate and contains a recessed lozenge-shaped cell but no enamel remains. The front of the catch plate lug is decorated with ring and dot. On the reverse is the remains of the double pin lugs and the complete catch plate.

An incomplete copper alloy unidentified object of uncertain date. The object is sub-rectangular in plan with two sections comprising a square section, which is 13.7 x 15.5, followed by a rectangular extension which is 9.5mm maximum width and tapers inward to 6.8mm width, and is 24mm long. The broken end of the square section is slightly convex. The object is flat and seems to have decoration on one side. A twisted and incomplete cast copper-alloy and white-metal coated Roman brooch of the Hod Hill type, dating to the first century AD (. c. AD 43-75). The brooch has a central vertical rib down the bow flanked by two lower ribs. A transverse moulding divides the bow in half, the lower section of which is plain and undecorated. A rounded foot knop forms the terminal. On the reverse is the catch-plate. At the head of the bow the rolled arms are incomplete and the pin and bar machinism is missing.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman disc brooch dating to the second century AD (c. AD 100-200). The brooch is flat and plain edged, and circular in shape. The front flat surface of the brooch is decorated with a central triskele pattern with solid pellet terminals in high relief. There is a central pellet also in high relief. The cells of the triskele and the outer fields would have been inlaid with enamel but this has now degraded. On the reverse the brooch is missing its pin. Similar brooches can be seen in Hattatt 2012, page 344, figure 203: nos 120, 524, 121 and1036.

A complete cast copper-alloy and white-metal coated Roman umbonate brooch dating to the period AD 100-250. The brooch has a wheel boss of five-spokes, each cell containing degraded enamel some of which appears red in colour (umbonate brooches often have alternating colours). Around the edges of the brooch are four knops set equidistantly - two larger knops with recesses for enamel above the catch and pin and two others in between. The catchplate is retained and the pin appears contemporary.

An incomplete and now bent sheet copper-alloy late Iron Age or early Roman strip bow brooch (Durotrigan type) datin from c. AD 25-70. The brooch is triangular in plan, widest at the head but the wings are now missing. There is linear decoration down the bow in two rows with chevron at the top and a double linear border towards to foot. The foot retains the catch-plate but this is now bent. Similar to those illustrated in Mackreth 2010 plate 100, but no direct comparison for the decoration.

Reverse: [*DAS WORT GOTS BLEIT EWIC]KLICH; Imperial orb surmounted by a cross pattée within a double-stranded trefoil, all within an inner circle.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman trumpet style brooch dating from c. AD 75-175. The brooch is missing its hinged pin and head loop but is otherwise complete. The brooch has an elaborate trumpet style head with decorative floral panels now missing its enamel. Part-way down the bow are three raised ribs, probably a devolved acanthus. The bow tapers towards a rounded terminal knop at the foot. On the reverse is the complete catchplate.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman, lozenge-shaped plate brooch, dating to the later second century AD. The brooch has furled edges decorated with ring and dot motifs. In the centre of the brooch is a raised lozenge-shaped boss which is filled with the remains of millefiori style enamelling in white, red and black. The reverse of the brooch retains the remains of the single lug for the coiled spring and missing pin and opposite, the remains of the catch plate. See Bailey & Butcher 2004:177 no. T240).
