An incomplete copper-alloy wrist or sleeve clasp of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 450 - 570. The clasp consists of a rectangular plate with one long straight edge and one irregular edge due to a series of worn breaks. These breaks obscure, though are suggestive of, sewing holes. The two shorter edges of the object are also broken and worn. Double grooved longitudinal bands are present towards the straight long edge. An incomplete copper alloy early medieval (Anglo-Saxon) pin. Only the upper part of the shaft and the terminal survive. The inner part of the terminal is an elongated cuboid shape with faceted corners. Each of the four outer faces has four engraved ring-and-dots arranged in a lozenge shape. Extending from the upper face is a narrow, flat plate with rounded outer end, pierced with a circular hole. Extending from the lower end, the stem in circular in cross-section and slightly tapering. An incomplete copper alloy early medieval (late Anglo-Saxon) strap end. The object consists of three sections - a flattened, wedge-shaped split end to accommodate the strap, a zoomorphic terminal in the same plane as the wedge and an openwork tongue sitting at a right-angle to the terminal. The wedge-shaped end has an in situ copper alloy rivet through its outer end securing both halves together.
