Mesolithic secondary flake of opaque grey/brown flint, broadly pentagonal in profile with a striking platform at one end, with abrupt retouch on the ventral side to one edge at the pointed end, and some cortex remaining along one edge toward the distal end. The item is slightly curved along the long axis. May have originally been more leaf shaped, as there is a possible blade removal which makes the item asymmetrical. Length 30.0mm, width 18.4mm, thickness 4.4mm, mass 2.5g.

An incomplete Post Medieval copper alloy pipe tamper in the form of a small claw hammer, dating to the period c.1600-1850. The claw hammer head has a rectangular socket for the handle and a conical bell/poll at one end and angled split 'claw' at the other. See KENT-3D35DE, LVPL-49364E and LEIC-AB113C for comparison.
