Mesolithic secondary flake of opaque grey/brown flint, broadly pentagonal in profile with a striking platform at one end, with abrupt retouch on the ventral side to one edge at the pointed end, and some cortex remaining along one edge toward the distal end. The item is slightly curved along the long axis. May have originally been more leaf shaped, as there is an unworked and possibly post-depositional break which makes the item asymmetrical. Length 30.0mm, width 18.4mm, thickness 4.4mm, mass 2.5g.
