A complete post-Medieval lead alloy ball (c. 1600-c. 1800). The ball has the flattened, cylindrical band (now barely visible) around the circumference characteristic of being 'set up', that is squeezed against the bore of the weapon during firing, and may have been fired from a "Turn-off" breech loading pistol.
