A very worn Roman copper alloy dupondius of Antoninus Pius (AD 138-161), dating to AD 154-5 (Reece Period 7), probably LIBERTAS COS IIII, S C, Libertas standing left holding pileus and sceptre. Mint of Rome. RIC III, p. 142, cf. no. 933. This coin is a 'Coin of British Association', struck for issue in Britannia.
