Reverse: POS[VI/DEV AD/IVTORE/M MEV] (I have made God my Helper); Square shield on long cross fourchée dividing the inscription with date of 1573 above shield. Diameter: 17.2mm. Weight: 0.80g. A fragment of a EarlyRoman copper-alloy penannular wide-cuff bracelet. This fragment is almost parallel in plan and slightly curved in side profile. One end is complete and is 6.0mm in width and the broken end has a width of 5.1mm. At the front a median longitudinal recess has cast 'zigzag' decoration. Beyond this decoration are two convex panels divided by a transverse ridge. The rear face is flat and plain. An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy openwork and hooked strap fitting (c.1550-c. 1650). The strap fitting consists of a trefoil plate with damaged openwork forming two circular openings and one lozenge shaped opening. These openwork features are bevelled at the front. One end of the fitting has a lobed projection which is pierced and contains the remains of an iron rivet. There is another circular rivet hole closer to the hook. A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy rotary key (c. 1500-c. 1800). The handle/bow is a roughly 'D'-shaped (kidney) in plan with two spurs on the internal vertical edge. At the apex of the bow there is a small projection in the form of a knop. The stem is circular in cross-section. Between the bow and stem there are four parallel moulded collars. A complete cast unifaced circular lead alloy token. The token is decorated on the obverse side with the capitalised initials IS or SI with a pellet between the letters. The S is retrograde. The token is 19.3 mm in diameter, 2.91 mm thick and weighs 4.6 grams. Lead tokens with simple designs are very easy to make and continued in use for a long period; those with initials are generally thought to date to the post medieval period. (1550-1800 AD)

A Post Medieval complete cast lead alloy circular token. Powell Type 2 and 8. The obverse of the token has the letter W and III on the reverse. It measures 25.95 mm in diameter, 2.13 mm thick and weighs 7.0 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore difficult to date precisely but those with initials are thought to be Post Medieval in date, c. 1550-1800 AD.

An incomplete copper alloy purse bar of post-medieval date. Only a section of one arm of the purse bar remains and is circular in section with worn breaks to either end. The decoration on the bar consists of a widely spaced incised cross-hatched design. The metal has a mid green patina and is worn. The purse bar is 65.59mm long, 6.93 mm in diameter and weighs 15.4g.

A complete cast lead alloy cap from a Post Medieval powder measure (1600-1700AD). It has straight sides with a circular base and one open end. Where the sides meet the base there are two attachment loops which are now bent slighty upwards. There is a vertical casting scar visable on bothside between the two loops. The sides have been slightly squashed inwards producing a more angled circle than on the base but is otherwise in better condition than most examples on the database. An incomplete and worn copper-alloy Roman nummus of the House of Valentinian dating to the period AD 364-375 (Reece period 19). GLORIA ROMANORVM reverse type depicting the emperor advancing right holding a standard and dragging a captive. Mint of Lyon. This coin his extremely worn and has possibly been deliberately modified or cut down to a smaller module, similar examples are noted in a small group of coins from the Ancaster area donated to the British Museum (see IARCH-E4F519).
