A complete cast or wrought lead or lead alloy container, possibly a 'bird feeder', of Late Medieval or early post-Medieval date (c. 1400 - c. 1600). The rim is semi-circular in plan. The sides taper from the rim towards the semi-circular flat base. Raised decoration just below the rim on the front convex face consists of a curvilinear tendril design within a border formed by two raised ribs. At the centre of the decoration there is a bird. An incomplete and corroded Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1350-c. 1650). Most of one loop is missing. The frame is convex at the front, flat at the rear and oval in plan. At the front of the outer edge there is series of transverse grooves as decoration. An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Medieval date, c. AD 1250 - 1400. The buckle loop and pin has been lost and only the integral plate remains. The plate is sub-rectangular in plan, which tapers to a rounded end; it has two visible circular perforations. The front and back of the buckle has no visible decoration. It is mid-green in colour and the surface has been heavily abraded. Similar examples are illustrated in Whitehead (1996), p. 33 and are dated to c. AD 1250 - 1400.
