An incomplete Medieval Copper Alloy harness pendant, almost square in shape with a hole at each corner. On the top part of the harness fitting. The face of the pendant has a voided cross with a crude representation of a Fleurs-de-Lys, the "Fleurs" being in the shape of a pellet.

Medieval copper alloy strap end dating to the period c. AD 1250 - 1450. Tongue-shaped, folded lengthways along one edge. The spit end exhibits a circular rivet hole containing a copper alloy rivet with roved over ends. Traces of material, probably leather, survive within. The front plate exhibits an engraved zigzag running from rivet to tip, flanked on either long edge by an engraved line.
Similar examples are discussed by Egan & Pritchard (2002), p. 130 - 131.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Anglo-Scandinavian stirrup strap-mount dating to the late Early Medieval period, c. 1000-1100 AD.
The body of the mount is broadly trapezoidal in plan with a convex front and slightly dished rear face. The upper edge of the mount demonstrates a broken centrally-perforated projecting lobe, below which the main body of the mount takes the form of a forward-facing anthropomorphic mask, achieved through moulded decoration. An incomplete and flat copper alloy object of zoomorphic form, probably dating to the late Roman or Early-Medieval period (c.AD 43-1100). It consists of a curving fragment (probably the neck) with an old break at one end revealing a rectangular cross-section 6.3x1.9mm, while the other end extends into a head which turns back above the curving section. Above the head projects a C-shaped ear, facing forwards, with a bulge on opposing sides for the brow ridge and the jaw/ cheek, and from the open mouth a pair of curling lip-lappets extend; one survives, the other has a worn break after 1…

An incomplete copper-alloy biconical-headed pin dating from either Roman or early medieval period (AD43-1066). The pin is incomplete with just the head remaining, but most of the pin missing from an earlier break. The pin narrows from 1.3mm to 0.9mm in thickness. The head is complete and still in good condition. It is undecorated and has flattened edges and there is a small collar between the head and the pin. The pin has a dark brown and green patina. Cast narrow rectangular section straight-sided band expanding to sub-circular form forming a bezel which bears stamped features resembling ring and dot confined or bordered by the incised crossing diagonals of a saltire. Each stamped dot figure comprises a bowl-shaped pit with an outer gutter, the gutters mostly lost in a densely crowded arrangement with two opposed panels of nine figures, and two opposed panels with four figures in a more symmetrical arrangement. Eleven worn copper-alloy barbarous radiates of small size dating to c. AD 275-285. Reece period 14, local unofficial mintage. Almost all these coins have reverses copying late 3rd century issues (mostly with standing female figures) though there is one which is possibly imitating a CONSECRATIO altar reverse of the deified Claudius II. Two of the coins still retain their original casting sprues.

A glass seal matrix dating to the Post Medieval period 1700 to 1830AD. The pink glass intaglio is well cut, oval in plan and flat in section with a bevelled edge for setting in a seal matrix or watch fob. The pink glass or rose crystal is slightly chipped in places but an intaglio of a female bust facing right is clearly visible. The bust has elaborately braided hair with drapery fixed in place by a flower at the shoulder probably a rose rendered in the 'classical style' in line with the Georgian Classical Revival. Incomplete copper alloy mount or stud of probable Roman date. A flat, circular disc with a central sqaure perforation. Surrounding the perforation is a reserve in the form of a sunburst, creating a series of triangular recesses, one of which retains traces of pale green enamel. The edge of the disc is bordered by a plain reserve.
Similar in form to: DENO-FE87A5 and to the sunburst designs commonly seen on brooches of this period, e.g. HAMP3517.
