An incomplete Post-Medieval copper-alloy strap fitting, dating to c.AD 1600 - 1700. The front face is oval shaped with two semi-circular protrusions at each end. A flattened strip of copper alloy extends from one end and has been bent back behind the object, possibly as attachment around a strap or similar. The other end has a break where a similar strip may have been attached. The object is inpoor, incomplete condition and is 42mm long, 17mm wide, 8mm thick and weighs 7.36g. Read (2008, 232) no. 829

Medieval copper alloy harness hook. The object has a cone shaped terminal in the form of an animal head, possibly a dog. It consists of a rectangular protrusion with a slit across it, representing the muzzle, sitting on a conical shaped terminal. Protruding from the base of this is a circular-sectioned shaft which is curved to form a loop or hook, 58mm long. The object is 63mm long, 18mm wide, 12mm thick and weighs 14.16g. Head and upper part of shaft from a copper alloy pin, possibly Roman. The head is almost spherical, and decorated with a number of angled parralel incised lines around the outer face. The upper part of the shaft is decorated by a single 'screw thread' raised line starting below the head and terminating 3mm below the head after three turns. The object is in good condition, is 25mm long, 10mm wide, 10mm thick and weighs 5.02g.

A Post Medieval copper-alloy button dating to circa AD 1550-1700. The button has a spherical head and a flattened rectangular shank. The head is convex. the button shank has a circular perforation located in the lower half. The surface is slightly abraded and has a mid green coloured patina. A similar button was recorded from Warwickshire (WAW-7F3A55) and is suggested as dating to the mid 16th to 17th centuries. The button measures 16.2 mm in length, 10.2 mm in width at the head, 1.5 mm in thickness at the shank and weighs 2.9 grams.

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman T-shape brooch dating from 50 - 150AD. Solid cast bow with wings rolled back at head to form hinged pin mechanism with slit for pin (missing). Bow tapers slightly towards round knob with flat bottom riveted onto the foot. The catchplate at the back of the brooch is well preserved. Narrow with no decoration, the brooch is 56.35mm at maximum length and 16.56mm at maximum width, with a thickness of 13.26mm. The weight is 6.67g. While not complete, the brooch is in good condition and the metal is a deep greenish-brown in colour.

A Post-Medieval copper alloy strap fitting, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1700. The strap fitting consists of an oval plate, with a now incomplete perforated knop expanding logitudinally from one end, and with an integrally cast, rearwards curving hook at the other, divided from the plate itself by a transverse collar. Fragment of lead alloy object. The extant remains appear to have been crudely chiselled from a larger object with linear tool cuts present on both sides, especially around an offset sub-rectangular slot cut through the thickness. It is hexagonal in shape, one side of which has an original thickened half-chevron decorated rim, but the others are cut. All cuts are ancient and heavy blackening of the surface may indicate it has been in a low temperature fire, hot enough to cause slight rounding of some of the edges.
