An incomplete struck flint flake of probable Neolithic or Bronze Age date, c. 4000-1500 BC. It is broadly rectangular in plan, with a plain platform and prominent bulb of percussion on its ventral face denoting hard-hammer removal. The flake is short and squat, having been struck into a concavity within the original core and subsequently terminating in a step fracture. There is a single large flake negative on its upper surface. Preserved in fresh condition with a slight bluish grey patina, it survives to a length of 20.24mm, 28.13mm wide, and 6.83mm thick at its midpoint. It weighs 5.5g.

A fragment of possible copper-alloy box shank/handle from a mid 1st century Roman composite key. c.AD 150-410.
Description: The fragment is form of rectangular tube with three transverse ribs at the intact opening, The broken end is very jagged but worn suggesting the break occurred in antiquity. The copper-alloy is patinated a typical light green in colour.

The motif above sheild may be 'star - starlet - star' with 'AVE MARIA STELLA DEI MATER' as legend. Reverse: Central four dot flower. Triple stranded straight cross fleur de lis ends with ships interspaced with four double lined scallop surround. Green patina. 25.79mm diameter, weighs 3.8grammes.

An almost complete copper-alloy Roman trumpet brooch, dating to the period AD 75-175. It is complete except for the lower half of the pin which is missing. The brooch measures 73.91mm in length, 20.65mm at maximum width and weighed 23.45g. There is a small headloop at the top of the brooch, with a piercing measuring 2.54mm in diameter. From here the headloop extends into a rimmed edge, which extends downwards to form a semi-circle. Behind this is the hinged pin.

A lead possibe cloth seal consisting of a flat disc and a projecting strip that may have connected to a second disc which is missing. The surviving disc bears a motif with a raised circular line with straight lines radiating from the centre. It is 38.4mm long, 20.3mm wide, 3.14 thick and weights 12.54g. An incomplete early medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper alloy cruciform brooch dating to the 6th century AD. The foot and the pin are missing. The head consists of a rectangular plate with knobs projecting on three sides and the bow projecting from the lower side. A complete but worn and warped lead-alloy pilgrim's Ampulla from the medieval period c. 1150-1500.
Description: It is formed of a hollow circular body with a crimped neck. The neck has both handles remaining. The neck is properly crimped shut. The body of the ampulla has clear parallel lines running top to bottom decorating one side. The other side is far more worn and detail is uncertain there maybe a capital letter D, however it is indistinct. The Ampulla is patinated a medium brown-cream typical of patinated lead.
