Incomplete copper alloy middle/late Saxon hooked tag, oval body with broken twin perforated lugs for attachment. The decoration comprises the probable remains of an oval niello panel, within a border of drilled largely blind dots. There are tiny lobes at the springing of the hook. The object measures 13.5 x 25mm. Cf. a similar tag from Margeson (in Rogerson 1995) fig.39, no.45. Circa 800-900 AD.

A copper-alloy strap mount of Post-Medieval date. It is cast in the form of a flower with disc-shaped head decorated on its front face with a central pellet surrounded by a circle of pellets representing petals. Below the flower head extends a curved stalk, from the base of which spring single oval-shaped centrally dished leaves cupping either side of the head. GLORIA EXERCITVS reverse type depicting Two soldiers standing either side of two standards. Prototype from the mint of Trier. This coin combines obverse and reverse types from the GLORIA EXERCITVS issues, the reverse mint mark usually found on the one standard types of AD 335-341 and for Constantine II as Augustus rather than Caesar. Measurements: 17.27mm in diameter, 1.71mm thick and 2g in weight.

A Medieval lead seal matrix, probably dating to c. AD 1250-1300. The matrix is pointed oval in plan, with an integral attachment lug at one end of the reverse, the perforation of which is circular and drilled. Also on the reverse is a central logitidudinal rib, continuous with the lug, and which extends to the opposite point of the seal. An incomplete copper alloy buckle dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1350 - 1450). The remains of the buckle consist of half of a single looped oval frame with a pointed knop on the outer edge. On the opposite side of the loop one arm of an integral forked spacer extends terminating in a worn break. The pin is also missing. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The overall dimensions are as follows: 38mm long, 22mm wide, 3mm thick and weighs 3.66g.

An incomplete copper alloy pin dating to the Early Medieval period (c. AD 720-850). The head of the pin is globular in shape with a collar at the base of the head and a short length of the shaft still apparent. The head of the pin is decorated with a series of spiralled ribs curving from the base and meeting at the top of the head. This style of decoration is sometimes known as 'wrythen decoration'. The pin has a greenish patina. The overall dimensions are as follows: 11mm in length, 8mm in diameter and 2.16g in weight.

It is decorated on the front face with a ship in sail and a fleur de lis in the left field. The reverse face is undecorated. The object has a mid-green coloured patina across all surfaces.
