Copper alloy composite strap end that is made from two sheet plates that sandwich a forked spacer. The overall shape is rectangular the forward edge is rounded. There is a copper alloy rivet on the forward edge securing the three elements together and a single rivet at the rear for attachment.

A heavily worn and corroded post medieval copper alloy jetton of Henry IV of France, possibly dated c.1596 AD.
The obverse depicts the King of France, in armour and brandishing a sword, riding triumphant to right over a battlefield strewn with weapons. He is wearing a commander's scarf. On the flank of his horse are the two shields of France and Navarre. These were used as medallions and struck at Nuremburg in commemoration of Henry IV's victory at Arques in 1589 AD.
Measures 25-27 mm diameter by 1.2mm thick. Weight = 2.70g.

~~This is one half of a copper alloy lozenge shaped plate brooch that has a hole in the centre that is surrounded by two concentric bands, the space in between the two bands are infilled with a series of evenly spaced annulars. Surrounding the surviving section of the outermost band are four widely spaced annulars that contain a ring in the centre. Running around the parameter of the brooch is a recessed linear border. On the reverse is a projecting pierced double lug that forms the mount for the pin.

A Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age flint scraper, probably dating to c. 3300-1000 BC. The flake is broadly sub-oval in plan and broadly flat in cross section; it is a tertiary flake with no surviving cortex and made of a grey/brown flint with large areas of pale grey inclusions. An incomplete copper alloy post medieval fragment from a cauldron or skillet dating to the period c. AD 1500 - 1700. The fragment comprises a leg which is five sided in cross section, tapers down to an outward facing foot and a ridge on the instep, with a flattened off tapered tip and a squared off heal. The fragment is copper alloy but with a possible pewter content as it is quite pale green-grey in colour.

A complete lead spindle whorl dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1000-1500). The spindle whorl is sub-circular in plan with a sub-circular central piercing. The surface bears some deep notches and lines owing to abrasion. The whorl is light grey in colour with a light brown soil staining covering its surface.
The overall dimensions are as follows: 25mm in diameter, 12mm in thickness and 31.57g in weight.

~~Copper alloy Polden Hill type brooch that has rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings, these are now truncated but would have held the pin axis bar. At the top of the head is a truncated rearwards projecting loop that would have held the external cord of the spring. Although the brooch is heavily corroded it appears to be undecorated. The lower part of the bow, including the catchplate is truncated.

A fragment of medieval or post-medieval (1100-1700) possible bracelet or perhaps casket binding, consisting of a flattish rectangular strip of copper alloy with old breaks at either end and decorated on one face. The reverse appears to have a central 'seam', perhaps from the metalworking process, and the object has a rather wiggly profile, suggestive that it may once have been curved.
