A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy trade weight (c. 1714-c. 1830).
This trade weight is circular in plan, sub-rectangular in cross-section and has a raised rim. The front has a central incised or stamped circle around the centre. Overlying this circle are three stamped motifs: a letter 'G' surmounted by a crown for George I, II, III or IV, a shield of the City of London (quartered with a sword in the first quarter) and an ewer denoting that the weight was approved by the Founders Company in London. An Iron Age copper-alloy coin die. The striking face is very worn and only a very small amount of detail is present. Unfortunately there is insufficent to relate the die to a known coin. The die is cylindrical, 13.72mm long and 19.80mm in diameter. The weight of the die is 52.43g.

A large Post Medieval copper-alloy clasp with a bifurcating terminal and separate copper-alloy bar, and a widely splayed attachment end with three circular decorative holes in line. The clasp has feathered and staggered line decoration and three attachment holes, one retains a rivet 14.5mm long, suggestive of a thick leather and wood cover.

Two worn Medieval silver cut halfpennies of Henry II (1154-1189) minted by Osber at Winchester. Class 1b, 1180-1185 (North 1994: 220, ref: 963). The two coins were found less than 1.0 metre apart and join together. Treasure case no. 2017 T616.
Whole coin before cut:
Obverse: hENRICV[S R]EX (EX after sceptre, normal N, round C and E, X without serifs), Crowned bust facing with sceptre.
Reverse: [+O]SBER·ON·WINC (round E, normal N, round C), Voided short cross with a quatrefoil in each quadrant.
Diameter: 19.6mm. Weight: 1.20g. DA=12:7.
