An incomplete and misshapen post-Medieval copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1500-c. 1650). The pin is missing. The sub-oval loops are of similar size and shape and the outer edges are pointed. The bar is triangular in cross-section, flat at the rear. The frame is drab green and fractured. Length: 34.8mm; width: 21.9mm; thickness: 2.5mm. Weight: 3.09g. Similar buckles have been published and dated c. 1500-1650 AD (Whitehead 2003: 55). Whitehead, R. 2003. Buckles 1250-1800. Greenlight Publishing, Witham.

An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1550-c. 1650). The pin is missing. The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear. Each loop is 'D'-shaped in plan and similar in size. Both outer edges are ornate at the front and decoration includes a stylised rosette motif at the centre. The bar is triangular in cross-section, flat at the rear and has a knop at either end. A complete Post Medieval-Modern copper alloy barrel tap, dating 18th-19th century. It is composed of a pipe tapering to the closed end, a central trunion, an anvil and a spout. The pipe has engraved lines running the length of it which would have been hammered into the barrel. The pipe has four lines of 4 drilled holes running laterally from the closed end for aproximately 25 mm, the lines of holes are not quite straight. Incomplete late medieval to post medieval copper alloy double loop buckle dating to the period c. AD 1500 - 1650. It exhibits a central narrowed strap bar with the butt of the wire pin wrapped loosely around it. A D-shaped loop projects from either side. The outer edge of each loop expands into a trapezoidal projection. Similar examples are discussed by Whitehead, R, 2003, p. 55.
