Roman (43 - 96 AD) brooch: An incomplete cast copper alloy Colchester derivative style brooch. Approximately 60% of the brooch is present, consisting of the head, wings, and portion of the bow. The foot, pin and catch plate are missing, presumably lost in antiquity.
The wings are slightly crescentic in section and taper to a blunt mount. In the centre of the wings, on the inner face there are vertical lugs which have two perforations. Medieval to Post Medieval (1325-1600) scabbard chape. The chape is made from cast copper alloy which is an inverted sub semi-circle with an integral knop at the apex. In section the chape is an elongated oval. One upper edge has a moulded undulating edge which has tall, pointed side. The other upper edge has a central protruding arm which has a perforated lug at the terminal. The surface of the chape has traces of a green-brown patina otherwise the surface is abraded.
It measures 47.38mm long, 32.93mm wide and 13.76mm thick. It weighs 20.83g.

Roman (late 3rd - 4th centuryAD) bracelet fragment with transverse grooves: The artefact is sub-rectangular in plan, curved in profile and is D-shaped in cross-section. The bracelet is decorated unifacially using slightly angled grooves forming ribbing. Towards one terminal the outer face is not decorated and tapers slightly. The other terminal is broken but not recently.
The surface of the bracelet has a light green shiny patina.
It measures 45.83mm from terminal to terminal, 6.19mm wide, 2.89mm thick and weighs 4.04g.

Roman (2nd century) Trumpet brooch: The fragmentary copper alloy brooch is a portion of the bow, which is broken at either end, neither break is recent. The bow is decorated with a triple-ribbed moulding with the central rib being prominent all of which are bordered by a triple stranded ridges. The reverse of the bow is undecorated but a section is hollow which may be an air bubble. The brooch has a matte light grey-green coloured surface. It measures 24.49mm in length, 9.72mm in width and weighs 2.1g.
