A complete and misshapen post-Medieval copper-alloy finger-ring (c. 1700-c. 1900).
The bezel is oval in plan and appears to be plain. Each tapering shoulder has a flower-head (?rose) motif. A transverse break has occurred across the hoop at the base.
This finger-ring is now copper-coloured with a green patina on the underside of the bezel.
Length: 21.5mm; width: 21.3mm; width of bezel: 9.8mm; thickness of bezel: 1.1mm. Weight: 1.66g.

An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy bridle boss (c. 1600-c. 1700).
This boss is umbonate in form and is now sub-circular in plan. The centre is domed with a flat border. When complete, the border consisted of evenly spaced pierced lugs but only one now survives complete. At the front, the dome has three incised lines crossing at the centre to form six segments. At the rear the centre is concave with the scar of a spike at the centre.
The bridle boss is reddish brown with patches of a greenish buff patina.
Length: 27.0mm; width: 23.9mm; thickness: 5.4mm. Weight: 5.03g.

A complete Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy open thimble or sewing ring (c. 1450-c. 1550).
This thimble is circular in plan and the sides taper inwards from the bottom to the top. The outer face has seven horizontal lines of circular indentations or drilled pits.
The thimble is reddish brown.
Height: 13.0mm; diameter at base: 19.0mm; diameter at top: 16.6mm. Weight: 4.80g.
A similar thimble has been published and dated c. 1500 (Holmes 1988: 2, fig. 4).

An incomplete cast copper alloy sword belt fitting of post-medieval date. The surviving portion comprises the lower part of an openwork mount, which has a backwards curving hook at the lower end. This contains a ring. The lower hole appears to contain a small lump of iron corrosion and this was therefore presumably a rivet hole. When complete, the fitting was probably similar to no. 357 in Brian Read's 'Metal Artefacts of Antiquity' (2002, p. 42).
