A triangular shaped body sherd of a possible Saxon coarseware vessel dating to the early medieval period. The fabric is a reduced dark grey colour with mica and quartz inclusions. The core is slightly orange in places. The sherd measures 35.1mm in length, 23.4 mm in width, 6.1 mm in thickness and weighs 5.8 g.
